Are you visiting Perth for the first time?
We are just north of Scotland's industrial and well-populated central belt. Perth has excellent communication to the south by road, rail and air yet within a few miles to the north or west you are into highland country with quiet roads, small towns and villages, lochs, mountains and wilderness areas. This is a popular area for all kinds of outdoor pursuits from walking, to golf, to rock climbing, to white water rafting, to quad biking up hill-sides and much more. Perth is also a great starting point for exploring north and west Scotland.
By road:
Perth is at the northern end of the UK Motorway network. Easily reached from Edinburgh or Glasgow, driving from England you are advised to head via Glasgow. Edinburgh to Perth takes a little over an hour, Glasgow slightly longer. We are situated in the centre of Perth, near the Perth Royal Infirmary. Use the link to our MapsGoogle page. then print the local map.
For real budget travel you can't beat Stagecoach's Megabus. Stagecoach began and is still based in Perth so all bus routes lead to Perth for as little as £1.00
