Incorporating: Crieff and The Famous Grouse Experience at Glen Turret, Glen Quaich, Kenmore and Loch Tay, Kinloch Rannoch and Loch Rannoch, Loch Tummel, Pitlochry, Kirkmichael, Bridge of Cally, Blairgowrie and Stanley. You'll turn off the busy A85 as you leave Perth and take the alternative road to Crieff via Madderty. Follow the Comrie road through the town and take a right, to Glenturret and the Famous Grouse Experience. Even if you don't care to stop, this is a pretty route to the Sma Glen. Take a left at Amulree and follow the single-track along Glen Quaich before you tackle the steep climb and hairpin bends on to the high moorland with great views back down the glen and ahead to Ben Lawers and Schiehallion. There's an equally sudden descent to Loch Tay and Kenmore. You'll follow a little of the loch before turning north to Fortingall. Heading to Kinloch Rannoch, take the Schiehallion turn off to Loch Rannoch; this is the , even more scenic route.  A circuit of the loch is an option, even a continuing to remote Rannoch Railway Station. East then to Pitlochry past Loch Tummel. Across the A9 and to Straloch and Kirkmichael. Join the A93 to Bridge of Cally and on to Blairgowrie and back to Perth.
