Incorporating: Bridge of Earn, Abernethy, Newburgh, Tayport, Leuchars, St. Andrews, Crail, Anstruther, Elie, Lower Largo and Falkland.
You'll leave Perth on the Old Edinburgh Road by Bridge of Earn and take the A913 by Newburgh, along the Firth of Tay with views across the water to the Carse of Gowrie and further on, to Dundee and Broughty Ferry. You'll pass under the road and rail bridges then in Tayport turn south to Leuchars and on to St. Andrews, university town and home of golf. Follow the coast south to the quaint little fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, Elie and Lower Largo. A short taste of industrial Fife as you pass through Methil and Glenrothes then through Fife's hills, the Lomonds and to Falkland with its historic palace. To Abernethy and retrace your steps to Perth.
